Refund Policy
Written to be read before you buy, not after you want your money back.
Last updated 19 September 2026
1The short version
Ask within 14 days and you get your money back, as long as you have not worked through a large part of the bank. No form, no reason required, no argument.
2The 14-day window
You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. We will decline a refund in that window only where you have answered more than 150 questions, because at that point you have had the substance of what you bought. We will tell you your number if you ask.
If you bought by mistake, bought the wrong exam track, or bought twice, tell us and we will sort it out whatever the numbers say.
3If you are in the UK or the EU
You normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content. That right ends once you begin using the content, because you agree at checkout that we may start supplying it immediately and you acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel by doing so.
We do not rely on that. The 14-day window in clause 2 is offered whether or not you have started, subject only to the 150-question limit. Your statutory rights are in addition to this policy, not replaced by it.
4After 14 days
We do not refund on request after 14 days. Access is sold for a fixed period and the period starts when you buy it.
Two exceptions, both of which we will honour without being pushed:
- We broke it. If a fault on our side stopped you using what you paid for, we will extend your access by the time lost, or refund you if you would rather.
- We were wrong about what you were buying. If the plan did not include something this site said it included, that is our error and you get your money back.
5Failing the exam is not a refund reason
We are sorry, and we mean that. But we never promised you would pass and we will not pretend we did. Preparation material cannot guarantee a result on a test we do not administer, and a company that refunds on a fail is quietly pricing that into what everyone else pays.
What we do instead: email support@boardreadynurse.com and we will move you onto the Retake Rescue plan at the difference in price rather than the full amount. It starts with a diagnostic rather than putting you back through the same bank in the same order.
6How to ask
Email support@boardreadynurse.com from the address you bought with, or reply to the receipt Paddle sent you. You do not need an order number, though it helps.
We reply within two working days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle, our merchant of record, back to the original payment method. Paddle typically takes three to five working days, and your bank may add a few more.
7Chargebacks
Please email us before asking your bank to reverse a charge. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the refund and takes months, where an email takes two days and gets you the same money.
Access is switched off when a chargeback is filed. If the bank decides in our favour, we switch it back on.
